History
RBnano Company
was created in 2007 to value patents and know-how in material science
issued from the Institute of Physics and Chemistry of Strasbourg,
IPCMS, a CNRS unit associated with the University of Strasbourg.
The company's story begins in 2004 when J.L. Rehspringer and L. Bedel, researchers at the
IPCMS, showed the sensitivity of new organometallic precursors to a
focused energy beam such as an electron beam from a common scanning
electron microscope (SEM).
This highly
innovative technology makes it possible to create nanostructures in oxide,
metal, or semi-conductors in an extremely simple way.
